The bass clef
Where your left hand reads, lower on the piano.

If the treble clef is home for your right hand, the bass clef is home for your left. It marks the lower notes — the ones that live to the left of middle C.
C, D, E, F, G in the bass clef — the same letters, just lower in pitch.
Two clefs, one piano
Piano music usually shows both clefs stacked together: treble on top for the right hand, bass below for the left. Each hand reads its own line, and middle C sits right between them.
Tip: Learning a new clef feels slow at first — that’s normal. Your left hand will catch up to your right with a little patient practice.
